Employment Status

Only current or former employees working in the federal public sector may make a complaint of reprisal. Note that the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act does not apply to hospitals, schools, municipalities, any organization falling under provincial legislation or the private sector. The Office therefore does not have jurisdiction over these sectors.
